GOL takes first wet-leased A330-200<\/h1>\n

GOL Linhas A\u00e9reas Inteligentes<\/a> (G3, S\u00e3o Paulo Congonhas<\/a>) has taken delivery of its first A330-200<\/a> in its own livery, wet leased from sister company Wamos Air<\/a>, also part of Abra Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The arrival of the aircraft, EC-NBN (msn 818) came ahead of the launch of GOL\u2019s new Rio de Janeiro International<\/a>–New York JFK<\/a> service on July 8.<\/p>\n

The aircraft is configured with 280 seats and represents GOL\u2019s introduction to the widebody segment as it prepares to receive its five<\/a> in-house A330-900N<\/a>s in the near future. Until now, GOL\u2019s strategy had centred around a narrowbody Boeing<\/a> B737 fleet.<\/p>\n

GOL operates a fleet of 144 aircraft, comprising twelve B737-700<\/a>s, fifty-seven B737-8<\/a>s, sixty-six B737-800<\/a>s, and nine B737-800(BCF)<\/a>s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
