The month-long celebration in June\u00a0 involves parades, and other special events movements to celebrate the progress of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout the month, music artists and performers have celebrated their sexuality while others finally addressed their sexual orientation through the process of \u201ccoming out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year was no exception when the \u201cOld Town Road\u201d rapper Lil Nas X urged his fans to take a closer look at his song \u201c<span>c7osure\u201d on his twitter, which hinted at the young man\u2019s sexual <\/span>orientation or \u201ccoming out\u201d as gay. With the help of social media, it has become somewhat easier for performers and artists to speak their truth. However, through these platforms, many listeners question if these queer artists should remain silent about their sexual orientation because it is \u201cnobody\u2019s business\u201d what happens in their bedroom.
