Looking through my archives, I found a bunch of arcade production line photographs that to my knowledge, haven\u2019t been shared before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I originally posted some arcade factory pictures exactly a decade ago <a href=\"https:\/\/arcadeblogger.com\/2016\/05\/13\/arcade-factory\/\">here<\/a> \u2013 which is also worth checking out if you missed it. This image shows Atari\u2019s <em>Quadrapong <\/em>being built at the same factory. In the background on the right are rows of Taito\u2019s vertical shooter, Wyvern F-0, and the green cabinets you can just make out in the background on the left are Taito\u2019s MA1 cabinets<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taito\u2019s <em>Super Speed Race Junior<\/em> is an interesting one. Never seen one before, but it was designed to teach kids about road and traffic safety. The cabinets are constructed out of wood with a green laminate on the sides which you can make out in the factory shot above \u2013 its a really cool and unique design. It was a Japan only release. Most R360s were sold for \u00a516 million each, which equated to around $100,000 in 1990 dollars.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The summer of 1981 saw Taito America build a new corporate headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, right next door to Chicago\u2019s O\u2019Hare airport.
