Baker McKenzie advised Airbus and Safran on the signing of an agreement for the sale of the stake held by Tikehau Capital\u2019s aerospace and defense fund in Aubert & Duval to its existing co-shareholders, Airbus and Safran.<\/p>\n
The acquisition of Tikehau Capital\u2019s stake will be acquired equally by Airbus and Safran. The completion of the transaction remains subject in particular to the required regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n
A strategic French industrial player, Aubert & Duval is one of the world leaders in the design, production and processing of complex metallic materials, particularly specialist steels, superalloys, titanium and aluminum for critical sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy and healthcare. The company generates approximately \u20ac960 million in revenue and employs nearly 4,400 people across ten industrial sites, eight of which are located in France.<\/p>\n
Baker McKenzie advised Airbus and Safran with a team comprising St\u00e9phane Davin (partner), Saveria Laforce (partner), Philippe Frieden and Emmanuel Jeanny (associates) on M&A aspects, as well as Guillaume Le Camus (partner) and Charles Baudoin (partner) on tax matters.<\/p>\n
Within the Airbus and Safran legal departments, the transaction was led by Jing Wei-Giraud (Senior Legal Counsel), with support from Lo\u00efc Amiand (Vice President \u2013 Head of Legal Affairs M&A) for Airbus, and by Nicolas Ch\u00e9ron (Deputy Group General Counsel), Abla Ch\u00e9rif (Head of Legal Affairs M&A \u2013 Corporate Venture Capital) and Paul-Louis Guilermin (Corporate \/ M&A Legal Counsel) for Safran.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
