I\u2019m so glad the founders Django Reinhart and Ruben Charbon brought a little bit of France into town. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">From the moment I stepped in, I was mesmerized by its candlelit vibe and romantic atmosphere (if you\u2019ve read my other articles, you know by now that I love such spots!).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Utrechtsestraat (street) in Amsterdam is lined with a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes and leads to the famous Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square), so if it\u2019s your first visit to Amsterdam and you\u2019re exploring the area, then Bar Babar is the perfect spot to grab a glass (or more) of wine away from the touristy area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The staff is very friendly and ready to help you pick the wine that fits your taste buds. <span class=\"s1\">Another big plus is that it\u2019s walk in only.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When I relocated to Amsterdam, I regularly went to the tapas restaurant across the street called Pata Negra.
