And maybe that was intentional.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">You see, this watch was actually conceived by two of the greatest German designers Dietrich Lubs and Dieter Rams, all the way back in 1989. These boys clearly knew what they were doing because people are still buying this watch almost forty years later, despite many more performant watches having been created since then. This also makes it one of the longest-running affordable watches you can still buy today, alongside the likes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/geni.us\/CasioF91W\" target=\"_blank\">Casio F-91W<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Unlike the Casio, and most other Braun watches, the <a href=\"https:\/\/geni.us\/braunaw10\" target=\"_blank\">AW10<\/a>\u00a0is still made in Gemany today, which is worth noting if you\u2019d rather avoid Chinese-made products where possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The AW10 isn\u2019t the prettiest or most elegant by any stretch; I don\u2019t think you could pull this off as a dress watch, for example, given the dingy color scheme. Instead, it\u2019s just a clean, utilitarian piece for office or casual use, where you just want to read the time and be done with it. What\u2019s more, it\u2019s also one of the thinnest affordable watches you can buy, at just 7mm including the bezel, and it<em>\u00a0looks <\/em>even thinner, thanks to the wafer-like main body, which is just 2.4mm.
