Don\u2019t Be Bored in Retirement<\/strong><\/h2>\n

So you did it, you flipped the switch and retired. Good for you but now that you\u2019re done with work, what are you going to do? While work can certainly suck, at least it gives you something to do, whether it\u2019s being social, having a task to do or keeping your memory or body sharp and fit. Now that it\u2019s over, it\u2019s important to keep those positives going while doing something you enjoy.<\/p>\n

If you find yourself lacking in that area, well allow me to introduce you to Bob to maybe give you some ideas for what you can do in the next phase of your life.<\/p>\n

Bob is the unofficial retiree guru who just kicked back, hung up his work boots, and said, \u201cAdios, Monday morning meetings!\u201d Now in his 60s, Bob is on a mission to make the most of his newfound freedom. If you\u2019re wondering what retirees like Bob can do when they\u2019re not punching the clock besides sleeping in, here are nine things that have become staples in Bob\u2019s post-retirement playbook.<\/p>\n

1. Rediscover the Art of Walking:<\/strong> Bob decided to lace up his sneakers and hit the pavement, discovering the therapeutic magic of walking. From leisurely strolls in the park to ambitious hikes on nature trails, walking became Bob\u2019s daily dose of both exercise and fresh air. 4. Get Your Groove On:<\/strong> Bob\u2019s not just grooving to the oldies at home; he\u2019s hitting up dance classes too! Retirement gave him the time to dust off those dancing shoes and try out salsa, ballroom, or whatever beat makes his heart happy. It\u2019s not just good for the body \u2013 dancing keeps Bob\u2019s spirit young and his hips moving.<\/p>\n

5. Dive into the World of Books:<\/strong> Bob always had a list of books he wanted to read but never got around to during his working days.
