details sound great, but what does it actually mean for me and my car?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>I had the same question before I decided to give this kit a try. <\/p>\n<p>In simple terms, it means that your car gets a boost in horsepower, and, maybe more importantly, much more exciting turbo noises!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing the CTS Turbo Intake Kit<\/h2>\n<p>Let\u2019s talk about getting your hands a little dirty, but in a good way! <\/p>\n<p>Installing the CTS Turbo air intake kit on my BMW M135i was surprisingly straightforward.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t need to be a seasoned mechanic to pull off this upgrade. <\/p>\n<p>With some basic tools and a bit of enthusiasm, you\u2019re all set. <\/p>\n<p>The air intake system sits right at the top of the engine bay, which is a big plus because it means you don\u2019t have to navigate through a maze of engine components to get the job done. <\/p>\n<p>For example, while I was at it, I also installed a <a data-lasso-id=\"67370\" href=\"https:\/\/cartriple.com\/cts-turbo-bmw-n55-turbo-inlet-pipe-review\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/cartriple.com\/cts-turbo-bmw-n55-turbo-inlet-pipe-review\/\">CTS Turbo Inlet Pipe<\/a>, which was definitely more challenging than the Intake Kit.<\/p>\n<p>In my case, installing the CTS Turbo Intake Kit took around 45 minutes to remove the old parts and put the new ones in place. <\/p>\n<p>Yep, that\u2019s it \u2013 45 minutes to give your car a new voice and some extra muscle!<\/p>\n<p>It starts with removing the original air intake system, which is secured with a few intake pipe with the OEM turbo inlet pipe clamp and the rubber grommet from the front of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Getting the rubber grommet into the CTS Turbo intake pipe requires quite some force, but it that if you have a plastic cap above the heat shield, you will probably have to remove it.
