Xana is a beautiful, young, tan hound mix girl with a soft, short coat. She is one years old and stands at medium height.\u00a0She’s very friendly and affectionate, and playful with her kennel mates and loves her humans.\u00a0She walks nicely on her lead and is clean in her Pen.\u00a0She is a happy and playful girl, loves her walks and we think could be good at agility, but her biggest passion is cuddles and lots of them!\u00a0Not tested with cats.<\/div>\n

She can live with children and other friendly dogs and is due to travel to the UK as soon as she gets a new home, or before if we can find a foster home.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Adopting A DogWatch UK Rescue Dog:<\/h3>\n

Before being adopted, dogs will have been vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas.
If old enough they will have been neutered, if too young the new owners will need to ensure this is done.
All dogs are microchipped<\/p>\n

All new owners will need to change their new dogs microchip information to their contact details. This costs \u00a317. If you would like us to arrange this for you, at a reduced rate of \u00a37.20, we will ask you to do a bank transfer to allow us to register the change.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Homecheck:<\/h3>\n

All our adoptions are subject to successful homechecks.<\/p>\n

The adoption fee is \u00a3250.00 for transport plus an adoption fee of \u00a3250.00 depending on the breed and age of the cat.\u00a0 The fee is paid via bank transfer to the UK or Paypal and covers the cost of passport, microchip, vaccines and neutering (if over 6 months) also transport costs\/taxes from Spain to the UK. \u00a0 There is now a deposit for all homechecks of \u00a325 which is deducted from the adoption fee.<\/p>\n

If the homecheck fails the \u00a325 will be reimbursed.<\/p>\n

If application is withdraw after the homecheck this is non refundable.<\/p>\n

All homechecks are now conducted virtually and will be undertaken via video call (using skype, zoom or equivalent).<\/p>\n

We will need to meet ALL members of the family living at the address, including children.<\/p>\n

Proof of ID and landlord permission is required<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

For Rescue Dogs coming from overseas:<\/h3>\n

This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog including
\u2013 microchip, pet passport, vaccines, tests for South European diseases, neutering (IF OLD ENOUGH), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from overseas to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough.
Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
