After moving our offices into Modjeska Simkins’ historic home in 2009, the SC Progressive Network began throwing a party on her birthday, a tradition we’ve maintained every year since.

So we regret that this year we will not be toasting her memory with a glass of her favorite port — at least not as a group. We encourage you to do so on your own.

Pour yourself a glass of port, or your favorite beverage, and take a little time to remember her remarkable life and legacy.

We’ve put together some links for you to enjoy and share.
