The color is moderately caramel, just a touch above orange, but not quite to a brown. <\/p>\n<p>The aroma is caramel, but lightly so. The mouthfeel is a little bit effervescent, which is an interesting place to put the stronger honey flavors featured in the beer. As the beer warms up a little bit, the rye spice tends to become more prominent. <\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s not excessive or overpowering, it\u2019s a little bit more of a kick into some interesting things with those dark sweet honey flavors, malt and wheat, with a touch of rye and orange peel. And that orange peel connects with the honey in a way that amplifies both to high heaven.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s an undeniable aspect of the cultural impact that WWII tends to have when it comes to the visual history and appreciation of the US military.
