Benjamin Sesko is closing in on his return from injury \u2018sooner than expected\u2019,<\/em> according to his agent.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The forward has been out of action since before the November international break, when he sustained a knee complaint in the second half of Manchester United\u2019s 2-2 away draw with Tottenham Hotspur.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sesko had been brought into the game in the 58th minute<\/a>, but lasted only half an hour before he was deemed unable to continue and forced off, leaving United with only 10 men for the closing stages due to Ruben Amorim using up all of his substitutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consequently, the Slovenian has missed the last four matches against Everton, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/span><\/p>\n

His absence has paved the way for Joshua Zirkzee to feature more prominently, but you\u2019d imagine Amorim will opt for Sesko, a natural No.9, to start when he\u2019s back in the fold.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019d come at just the right time, too, given United are approaching potentially the most hectic period in the season around Christmas and into the New Year.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Thankfully for Amorim, he could have Sesko back at his disposal in the coming weeks<\/a> if his agent\u2019s comments are anything to go by.<\/span><\/p>\n
