On Sundays I try to at least quickly note some of my favorite listening from the week prior \u2014 things I would later regret having not written about in more depth, so better to share here briefly than not at all.<\/p>\n
\u25b0\u00a0I can\u2019t remember the last time I\u2019d been alerted to an album\u2019s release by as many old friends and internet friends as I have been thanks to Shane Parish<\/strong>\u2019s set of guitar covers of music by Autechre<\/strong>. The full album, titled Autechre Guitar<\/a><\/em> in a way that gives no due to the effort entailed, isn\u2019t due out until February 27, 2026, but the first two tracks are out on Bandcamp. Give a listen to the first track, \u201cMaetl,\u201d off the great Incunabula<\/em>, from way back in 1993:<\/p>\n
