The claims were made by Richard Everett – a former Reform UK councillor who worked on the campaign. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

He submitted documents to the Metropolitan Police allegedly showing the party spent more than the \u00a320,660 limit fighting the Essex constituency and failed to include some expenses, including the refurbishment of a Reform-themed pub in the campaign office and the loan of an armoured Land Rover.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a statement, Essex Police<\/a> said: “We are assessing a report relating to alleged misreported expenditure by a political party in connection with the 2024 general election, following a referral to us by the Met Police.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Reform has strongly denied breaking the law on election spending and has accused Mr Everett of being a \u201cdisgruntled former councillor\u201d who was expelled from the party \u201cseveral months ago\u201d. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

More than two dozen of Mr Farage\u2019s contemporaries have now come forward to say they witnessed the Reform UK leader engage in racist or offensive behaviour as a teenager at the exclusive south London private school. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
