{"id":332403,"date":"2025-12-06T18:06:47","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T18:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/recipes\/category-a-b\/beer\/appetite-columnist-daisy-turnell-earns-beer-sommelier-accreditation\/"},"modified":"2025-12-06T18:06:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T18:06:47","slug":"appetite-columnist-daisy-turnell-earns-beer-sommelier-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=332403","title":{"rendered":"Appetite columnist Daisy Turnell earns beer sommelier accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3>Appetite columnist, beer judge and Craft Beer Newcastle founder Daisy Turnell has been inaugurated into the Guild of Beer Sommeliers.<\/h3>\n<p>Daisy, who is also a director of Tipple Marketing, earned the accreditation having demonstrated her skill in communicating a deep understanding of beer, brewing processes, and beer and food pairing.<\/p>\n<p>Daisy passed a rigorous exam designed to assess knowledge in a variety of subjects, including identifying beer styles, ingredients and brewing techniques, as well as recommending appropriate food pairings for the beers she was tested on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to congratulate Daisy for her hard work and dedication,\u201d said Alex Barlow, chief examiner for The Guild of Beer Sommeliers. \u201cPassing the beer sommelier assessment is a significant achievement, and Daisy has proved herself to be a true beer connoisseur.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daisy will now be inaugurated into the Guild of Beer Sommeliers, a community of more than 200 qualified beer sommeliers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so proud to work in the beer industry and becoming a qualified beer sommelier has been an important part of my journey to demonstrate knowledge and understanding, and to help other people learn and appreciate beer,\u201d said Daisy.<\/p>\n<p>The Guild of Beer Sommeliers offers a comprehensive training pathway for individuals looking to deepen their knowledge and skills in the world of beer.
