If you\u2019re looking for a fun, budget-friendly holiday craft, this little DIY Snow Globe is perfect. All my big kids made their own, and I helped the littles and honestly, it was such a sweet, easy project for everyone. The best part? Each snow globe cost around $2<\/strong> to make using items from Dollar Tree!<\/p>\n

These turn out adorable<\/em>, they shake beautifully, and they look like something you\u2019d buy in a gift shop but for just a couple of dollars.<\/p>\n

What You Need (All Found at Dollar Tree):<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • \n

    One plastic craft globe<\/strong> (the kind that twists open at the bottom)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    A pack of Cobblestone Corners miniatures<\/strong> \u2014 Santa, snowmen, Christmas trees, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    A small bag of fake snow \/ iridescent flakes<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Adhesive or strong glue<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How to Make Your $2 Snow Globe<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Step 1: Open the Craft Globe<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Twist the bottom off your plastic globe. Set the top aside.<\/p>\n

    Step 2: Choose Your Mini Figurine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Pick your favorite little character from the Cobblestone Corners pack.
    We used Christmas trees, Santa, a snowman \u2014 they\u2019re all cute and perfectly sized.<\/p>\n

    Step 3: Glue the Figurine to the Base<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Use a dab of adhesive and press the figurine firmly onto the globe base.
    Let it set for a few minutes so it doesn\u2019t wiggle.<\/p>\n

    (This was the part where the older kids were totally independent, and I helped the little ones hold theirs in place.)<\/em><\/p>\n

    Step 4: Add the Snow<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Sprinkle a small amount of the iridescent snowflakes into the globe half.
    A little goes a long way \u2014 too much and your scene will disappear in a blizzard!<\/p>\n

    Step 5: Reattach the Globe Top<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Once the glue is dry, line up the top of the globe and twist it back onto the base.
    Make sure it\u2019s snug so no snow escapes.<\/p>\n

    Step 6: Shake and Enjoy!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    That\u2019s it! Give it a gentle shake and watch the sparkly snow swirl around your tiny winter scene.<\/p>\n

      If you prefer the look of floating snow, you can<\/em> add water, but the Dollar Tree globes look great dry (and no leaking worries around little hands).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
