<\/figure>\nThis is the 7th collaborative EP from Atlanta, Georgia emcee\u00a0Jay NiCE<\/a>\u00a0& the local Dump Gawd himself\u00a0Tha God Fahim<\/a>. Both of whom have worked with each other countless times in the past several years, teaming up for the collab album\u00a0Strictly 4 My D.U.M.P.E.R.Z.<\/em>\u00a0during the spring of 2018 & the\u00a0Bloodspiller<\/em>\u00a0extended play 3 years ago.\u00a0Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 12<\/a><\/em>\u00a0produced by\u00a0Nicholas Craven<\/a>\u00a0became their greatest joint offering yet, coming off\u00a0the 17th<\/a>\u00a0as well as the 18th<\/a> & 20th<\/a> chapters. Coming off\u00a0the 21st<\/a>\u00a0earlier today, they\u2019re giving us another one when we least expected it.<\/p>\n \u201cPowerful Blast\u201d come straight out the gate with a euphorically drumless instrumental from Craven talking about learning from the scholars in addition to getting their defense up & after \u201cSoul\u201d jazzily talks about the very thing they\u2019re floating over sonics with, \u201cStatement of the Day\u201d works in some lavish piano chords & a chipmunk soul sample recalling when they had to survive the darkest of clouds.<\/p>\n To begin the 2nd half of\u00a0Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 22<\/em>, \u201cThe Price is Right\u201d takes a funkier approach to the beat talking about how y\u2019all gotta be built for the type shit they on while \u201cYour On Ya Own\u201d blends jazz rap & boom bap flexing they have enough rhymes to go against mankind. \u201cAssassin\u2019s Hitlist\u201d produced by Tha God Fahim himself finishes with blissful sampling to talk about not wanting to lose time, hence why they build.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a bit jazzier than\u00a0Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 21<\/em>\u00a0was, but I didn\u2019t enjoy this as much as the last couple installments of the endless saga & the previous one literally came out an hour earlier although it\u2019s still very much a tight collection of hardcore hip hop tracks with influences of boom bap as well as chipmunk soul & drumless. Goes back to what I said in my review of the previous EP: None of the Jay NiCE & Tha God Fahim collab EPs we\u2019ve gotten are bad, I just prefer some more than others.<\/p>\n Score: 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n \n
