Travel in your backyard during COVID by Yogita Ridgley<\/a><\/p>\n

We\u2019re very lucky in Australia and in New Zealand when it comes to the pandemic; cases are now minimal, and borders are beginning to reopen.<\/p>\n

For many though, who are as passionate about interstate or overseas travel as I am, we\u2019re waiting with bated breath until it is safe to jet-set again.<\/p>\n

Ten years ago, when I set off on my first solo travel experience, I didn\u2019t need to think about restrictions, all I was focused on was rediscovering my authentic self and using a new experience to remove years of trauma.<\/p>\n

Traveling solo allows you to step out of your comfort\u00a0zone. You cannot see the complete picture unless you step out of the frame. That\u2019s what happened when I went on my first trip. <\/span><\/p>\n

Discovering how much travel changed my own life, it\u2019s been my ambition to help other women realise positive mental, physical, and emotional health, by taking charge and making change.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, how do we benefit from travel during a pandemic?<\/p>\n

We just need to take a different perspective. E<\/span>ven within a pandemic, we can still have a similar \u2018stepping out of the frame\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n

I love to travel and I miss it, but it\u2019s important not to let being unable to travel upset us. Where we live is beautiful, and there are lots to see.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
