Interested in becoming an Amazon product tester? Wondering where to start? Explore user-friendly platforms that can kickstart your journey. Discover the websites that can pave your path to this exciting opportunity.

Product testers are the lucky ones who test out new products before they hit the market.

Whether it’s testing games or gadgets, each product has different skills and requirements. The key is to have a sharp eye for detail, analytically and critically judge a product, and be able to express your thoughts clearly and constructively.

It’s an incredible opportunity for the testers to experience the latest products, often receiving them for free or even getting paid for their insights. These testers offer honest feedback for companies that can significantly improve a product’s quality and build credibility among future customers.

Amazon Product Reviewer Sites

These sites operate outside of Amazon and have unique ways of working around Amazon‘s restrictions on soliciting product reviews. Let’s explore some of these sites:

1. Product Reviewer Jobs

Product review jobs match users with paid product testing and market research tasks based on demographic details. The company offers focus groups, surveys, and product tests, including high-paying options, and at least three opportunities are available upon joining.

Earnings vary based on user participation, as the site directs users to external earning opportunities rather than paying directly.

2. Vipon

Vipon offers Amazon shoppers substantial discounts on a diverse range of products. Users sign up for free and access coupon codes for 50% to 99% off. Launched by AMZ Tracker, it boosts exposure and sales for Amazon sellers.

However, user experiences are mixed: while some praise the significant discounts and user-friendly platform, others report issues with codes and question the deal values.

3. Home Product Testing

The Home Tester Club is a popular platform for testing products and providing feedback. Users sign up and choose products they’re interested in testing. Once selected, they receive the product, use it, and then write a review.

The unique feature of Home Product Testing is its wide range of products, from household items to electronics. The advantage is that testers often get to keep the products they review.

4. Rebaid

Rebaid specializes in cashback and rebates for Amazon products. It helps sellers increase sales and product rankings with full-price orders and post-purchase rebates.

Rebaid has a selection cap and monthly limit but provides communication tools for review requests. Payments are initially via checks, with a 1% fee for bank transfers.

5. ProductTestingUSA

ProductTesting USA offers a unique opportunity for consumers to test and keep products in exchange for reviews. Unlike traditional survey sites, ProductTestingUSA focuses on product testing, allowing users to try various items.

However, the site has mixed reviews regarding customer satisfaction. Some users report dissatisfaction with the number of products available for testing or the selection process. While the site is legitimate, potential testers should know that opportunities might not be as frequent as desired.

6. Testzon

Testzon connects Amazon sellers with potential testers, offering products at discounts or for free. Users globally join for free.

While it boosts product visibility for sellers, review guarantees aren’t provided, adhering to Amazon’s policies. The platform has a mixed reputation: it’s generally trusted per Scamadviser, but user experiences vary.

With Jungle Scout, testers have the data they need to make smart choices and boost their strategies for selling on Amazon.

8. VIP Power Club

VIP Power Club links Amazon reviewers with free/discounted products, boosting seller visibility.

It offers deals instead of direct requests, evading Amazon’s review solicitation rules. Unlike Jump Send, reviewers aren’t paid.

9. Influenster

Influenster is a product discovery and review platform that rewards members with free VoxBoxes of beauty and household products in exchange for honest reviews and social media posts.

10. Home Tester Club

The Home Tester Club simplifies sign-up and targets a wide household and grocery items audience.

Users can try products for free in exchange for detailed reviews, though only some are selected for each test. Like Influenster, Home Tester Club offers products, not cash, as compensation.

11. Smiley360

Smiley360, a U.S. product testing platform, offers Missions for members to evaluate and review new products.

Users earn points via surveys to qualify for Missions. As a reward, they keep the products they test, emphasizing the experience over monetary gain.

How to Become an Amazon Product Tester?

Here’s the scoop: while you might not make a fortune, being an Amazon product tester often offers free or discounted products in exchange for your reviews. A regular paycheck is unlikely, with the average hourly rate around $38.36 in the U.S., but it’s more about the experience and less about the cash.

Amazon’s Product Review Groups – Amazon Vine

If you’re keen on testing products for Amazon, you get a few options. Amazon Vine is an invite-only program where top reviewers, chosen by Amazon, get free products to review, often before they’re available to the public.

You can’t apply for this; Amazon picks you based on your review history. Vine members don’t get paid in cash but enjoy free products in exchange for honest reviews.

Amazon Associates

Amazon Associates is a great option for those who love sharing their product experiences. As an Associate, you earn commissions by creating and sharing links to Amazon products.

If people buy through your links, you get a cut. Influencers with a significant social media presence get their own Amazon page to showcase recommended products and earn commissions from sales made through their page.
