Come closer.<\/p>\n<p>At our big age \u2014 past 25 \u2014 that question <em>\u201cWhat do you bring to the table?\u201d<\/em> should not be causing heat in your chest. Truly, it shouldn\u2019t. Because at this point, you are not just vibes and a cute selfie. There has to be something you\u2019re bringing, and deep down, you know it.<\/p>\n<p>This is not an attack. It\u2019s simply acknowledging growth.<br \/>In your 25+ years, you have lived, learned, stumbled, healed, unlearned, and matured. Even if your offering isn\u2019t financial (and that\u2019s okay), you must be bringing something meaningful.<\/p>\n<p>So if that question still irritates you\u2026 maybe it\u2019s time to pause and ask yourself <em>why<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"You_Should_Be_Bringing_Clarity_%E2%80%94_Not_Chaos\"\/>You Should Be Bringing Clarity \u2014 Not Chaos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>At this age, emotional tantrums should be rare guests, not permanent tenants. We\u2019ve all had our dramatic era (I know ), but hopefully, you\u2019ve grown in emotional regulation. You\u2019ve learned that conflict isn\u2019t solved by shouting, blocking people mid-conversation, or disappearing for days.<\/p>\n<p>Clarity looks like:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowing what you want<\/li>\n<li>Communicating without manipulation<\/li>\n<li>Being self-aware<\/li>\n<li>Taking responsibility for your triggers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is growth \u2014 and growth is part of what you bring to the table.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Self-Work_Is_Not_Optional_%E2%80%94_Its_Necessary\"\/>Self-Work Is Not Optional \u2014 It\u2019s Necessary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>I hope you\u2019ve worked on you.<br \/>I hope you\u2019re <em>still<\/em> working on you.<\/p>\n<p>And please, let\u2019s expand our definition of \u201cschool.\u201d Education isn\u2019t limited to four lecture halls and a graduation gown. Today, we have:<\/p>\n<p>If you want to grow, the world is literally at your fingertips. The question is: are you taking advantage of it?<\/p>\n<p>Because what you bring to the table is not about degrees only \u2014 it\u2019s about wisdom, growth, and intentional improvement.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Not_Everything_You_Bring_Must_Be_Monetary\"\/>Not Everything You Bring Must Be Monetary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>When people ask, \u201cWhat do you bring to the table?\u201d many panic because they assume it is about money. But money is only one piece of the puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>You bring:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Peace<\/li>\n<li>Perspective<\/li>\n<li>Support<\/li>\n<li>Emotional maturity<\/li>\n<li>Stability<\/li>\n<li>Vision<\/li>\n<li>Healing<\/li>\n<li>Softness<\/li>\n<li>Strength<\/li>\n<li>Nurture<\/li>\n<li>Intelligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These things cannot be bought. And they matter just as much.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"And_Now_Brother_Bernard%E2%80%A6_Lets_Talk\"\/>And Now, Brother Bernard\u2026 Let\u2019s Talk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>This message is not for the ladies alone.<br \/>Brother Bernard, please come to the front.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re pursuing a woman past 25, please understand: you can only flaunt money for so long. Yes, money is good \u2014 we love it, we appreciate it, we respect it. But after money\u2026 <em>then what?<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>Because chances are, you didn\u2019t find her in her mother\u2019s house.<br \/>You found her:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Paying rent for her single room or bedsitter<\/li>\n<li>Paying for her own hair<\/li>\n<li>Paying electricity and water<\/li>\n<li>Paying mama fua<\/li>\n<li>Taking herself out for shawarma when life gets stressful <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>She may not be wealthy, but she can take care of her basic needs. This is a <strong>lifetime commitment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are choosing:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A co-parent<\/li>\n<li>A prayer partner<\/li>\n<li>A best friend<\/li>\n<li>A confidant<\/li>\n<li>A financial teammate<\/li>\n<li>A life companion<\/li>\n<li>The person who will influence your peace or your stress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Surely, you won\u2019t pick carelessly.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"My_Thoughts_Lets_All_Bring_Substance_to_the_Table\"\/><br \/>My Thoughts? Let\u2019s All Bring Substance to the Table<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>After 25, both men and women should bring more than aesthetics and banter. Bring maturity. Bring emotional intelligence. Bring healed versions of yourself. Bring kindness. Bring stability. Bring accountability. Bring growth.<\/p>\n<p>Relationships at this stage require more intentionality.<br \/>More depth.<br \/>More vision.<br \/>More self-awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Because you\u2019re not just choosing a partner \u2014 you\u2019re choosing a future.
