I\u2019ve been to\u00a0New York\u00a0at Christmas<\/a><\/strong>, and while the decorations were beautiful, but it\u2019s nothing as compared to London! The Christmas lights in London are beautiful, and the most impressive I\u2019ve ever seen anywhere else in the world! <\/p>\n The streets are decorated with twinkling lights, festive decorations everywhere you see, and charming displays on shopfronts, doors, and buildings, with most amazing light displays and decorations throughout the city. I really love all the festive things to do in London, and wandering around the city to admire the festive displays! <\/p>\n So today follow along to find the best spots to see Christmas decorations in London as well as finding the best London Instagram spots during the Christmas season. And today, it\u2019s one of the most famous streets to visit in London during Christmas. The street looks magical at night with more than 300,000 twinkling angels.<\/p>\n The decorations stretch from Langham Place to waterloo place but the best section is between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus especially near Karl Lagerfeld.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n Looking at the popularity of the street, it gets very crowded during the Christmas. So just try to visit on a weekday evening instead of a weekend. Angels on Regent street are on repeat displays every year! You can get the photos from the central of the street with red buses in the background.<\/p>\n Oxford Street is one of the first place in London to turn on Christmas lights, typically around 4th November. And that marks the starting of Christmas season in London. Every year the display consists of more than 300,000 stars forming a canopy over the longest shopping street in London. It\u2019s one of the most magical Christmas displays in London.<\/p>\n For festive fun, visit the Selfridges <\/strong>Christmas window displays with different creative theme every year! Oxford Street Christmas lights turn on from 4 PM to 11 PM to save the energy! So I recommend going around at 10 PM to avoid crowds.<\/p>\n Bond street is known for its high end designer stores, with all storefronts decked up for Christmas spirits. The highlights includes the Cartier store, which is adorned with stunning window displays. You must add it in your London Christmas Itinerary<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany store fronts are also beautiful and impressive along the street. Keep your camera charged, as you\u2019ll click lots of photos of some of the best Christmas decorations in London.<\/p>\n While you\u2019re here, make sure to get a table at Ralph\u2019s Coffee<\/strong> to see the best views of Cartier display. The cafe opens at 10 AM and they start setting up tables 9:30 AM onwards. It has been a favourite of the Royal Family since Queen Victoria\u2019s times. So, it\u2019s a must-stop during the festive period. This is hands down my most favorite Christmas displays in London.<\/p>\n Make sure you stop by\u00a0Miracle at Henrietta Hotel<\/strong>\u00a0at their Christmas themed bar for the festive cocktails! It\u2019s very popular during the season, so make sure to book months in advance when they open reservations.<\/p>\n Just 10 minutes walk from Covent Garden, Neal\u2019s yard is one of the most colorful places to visit in London during Christmas. You\u2019ll find lots of cafes, stores, restaurants and bakeries in the area. I really love stopping by 26 grains<\/strong> for the good breakfast or grab some bakery items at St John\u2019s Bakery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Few steps from Neal\u2019s yard, stop at the Seven Dials<\/strong>, a column bearing six sundials. At Christmas, it features canopy of light displays around central monument. This is probably my favorite light display in London. <\/p>\n Just wander in any directions, you\u2019ll find best boutique stores, restaurants, and hidden squares! I also suggest visiting nearby Seven Dials Market<\/strong>!<\/p>\n Leadenhall Market is a covered market in East London and was a filming location for Harry Potter! Not just during Christmas, this market is worth the visit for its colorful architecture at any time of the year.<\/p>\n The Ivy is one of the most famous restaurant in London with various locations throughout the city. But the Christmas displays at the Chelsea location is always seems spectacular! Their cupcakes and hot chocolates are worth to try! <\/p>\n Another affluent neighborhood, Chelsea is must visit to see some of the best Christmas decorations in London. The area decks out with with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and festive installations. <\/p>\n Admire the dazzling light displays along the famous\u00a0King\u2019s Road<\/strong>, and Duke of York Square<\/strong>. You can see beautiful store fronts, Sloane square <\/strong>with dazzling light displays and festive activities throughout the area. <\/p>\n You\u2019ll find the most impressive Christmas displays in London at the store fronts. Neill Strain is a flower shop in London and always does Christmas very well! You\u2019ll find their Belgravia location decorated well with a magical fairytale vibe. They changes theme every year but it\u2019s becoming more and more beautiful every year.<\/p>\n Located near London Bridge station on the south bank of the river Thames, Hay\u2019s Galleria is a bustling shopping area of London. If you\u2019re visiting Tower Bridge Christmas market, you can walk along the river to Hay\u2019s Galleria. <\/p>\n During Christmas, it transforms into magical wonderland featuring a huge Christmas tree and one of the best Christmas Markets in London, Christmas by the River. You can shop at the many Christmas Market stalls for jewelry, accessories, and more. <\/p>\n Grab some churros or tasty treats from the stalls, and then head to Riverside glasshouse terrace <\/strong>to get the some mulled wine and Pizza with the tower bridge views.<\/p>\n The Ritz Carlton is a most luxurious hotel of London, located right next to Green Park station. It is one of the posh shopping arcade in London as well as icon of architecture.
