I don\u2019t know about you, but I seriously LOVE my relaxing bath nights or what I call a spa night at home. I usually go all out and do a facial, exfoliate, listen to music, a foot scrub, and of course a relaxing bath with a bath bomb or two. <\/p>\n

My favorite bath bombs are from Lush, but they aren\u2019t really in my budget right now. <\/p>\n

I decided I wanted to start making my own bath bombs. Everyone at our home loves donuts, so I decided to make some sprinkled donut bath bombs. The best thing is, once you buy the ingredients to make this recipe, you\u2019ll have a ton of ingredients leftover to experiment and make even more bath bombs. <\/p>\n

Homemade Bath Bombs Recipe (In a Fun Doughnut Theme!)<\/h2>\n

The possibilities are endless.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the recipe so you can make the doughnut bath bombs too. Of course, you can always use different molds for a new theme too!<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll link the ingredients to where you can purchase on Amazon as well, or for reference if you\u2019re unsure of what the ingredient is.<\/p>\n

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and epsom salts. \u00a0(I found some lavender epsom salts! Double dose of lavender \u2013 yay! HELLO SLEEP!!!)<\/li>\n
  2. If you are doing different colors of doughnuts \u2013 divide your mixture up at this point.<\/li>\n
  3. Add coloring slowly. \u00a0You don\u2019t want it to fizz!<\/li>\n
  4. Pour in melted coconut oil and add your lavender essential oils. \u00a0Mix well.<\/li>\n
  5. In a spray bottle, add witch hazel. \u00a0Lightly mist a few times until it will hold it\u2019s shape. \u00a0Go sparingly with the witch hazel \u2013 you won\u2019t need much!<\/li>\n
  6. Lightly spray your doughnut pan with non-stick spray. \u00a0Press your mixture into the mold and allow to sit overnight. \u00a0(If you don\u2019t have overnight, letting them sit for several hours should do the trick as well!)<\/li>\n
  7. In a bowl, melt some goat\u2019s milk soap base according to package instructions.<\/li>\n
  8. Dip the top of the doughnut into the soap and set it to dry. \u00a0It won\u2019t take long!<\/li>\n
  9. Re-dip your doughnuts again and immediately add sprinkles. \u00a0We used rainbow sprinkles. Let them sit until dry and fully set. \u00a0It shouldn\u2019t take longer than 10-15 minutes.<\/li>\n
  10. After that, all you have to do is let them dry. I usually place mine overnight on a cooling or baking rack. The next day they\u2019re completely hard and ready to use or give as a gift! My girls just LOVE these. Let me know if you make them, and let me know if you come up with any other ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> baking soda<\/span><\/li>\n
      • \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> citric acid<\/span><\/li>\n
      • \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> corn starch<\/span><\/li>\n
      • 3<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Epsom salt<\/span><\/li>\n
      • 3<\/span> tsp<\/span> coconut oil<\/span> melted<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Small spray bottle of Witch Hazel<\/span><\/li>\n
      • 15<\/span> drops of Lavender essential oil<\/span> or a different oil of your choice<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Bath Bombs Coloring \u2013 I made some pink and some a chocolate color<\/span><\/li>\n
