The paper was commissioned by Crypto Council for Innovation (whose members include Coinbase, Fidelity Digital Assets, and Square). While this may seem good for Bitcoin, the paper makes some concerning conclusions about mass surveillance and crime. Check out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jswihart\/status\/1382019925473075200\">Josh\u2019s thread<\/a>\u00a0for more context.<\/li>\n<li>New\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/electriccoin.co\/blog\/new-release-4-4-0\/\">Release 4.4.0<\/a>\u00a0allows zcashd to be configured to optionally expose an HTTP server that acts as a Prometheus scrape endpoint.<\/li>\n<li>This week, ECC announced\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/electriccoin.co\/blog\/halo-arc-for-zcash-proposed-for-release-later-this-year\/\">Halo Arc<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/electriccoin.co\/blog\/unified-addresses-in-zcash-explained\/\">Unified Addresses<\/a>.
