{"id":319919,"date":"2025-11-25T21:27:54","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T21:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/airline\/dornier-technology-secures-faa-certification\/"},"modified":"2025-11-25T21:27:54","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T21:27:54","slug":"dornier-technology-secures-faa-certification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=319919","title":{"rendered":"Dornier Technology Secures FAA Certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/asianaviation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/A320-at-Dornier-Technology-maintenance-base-at-Clark-pic-1-1.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"912\" data-original-width=\"1216\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/asianaviation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/A320-at-Dornier-Technology-maintenance-base-at-Clark-pic-1-1.jpg\" width=\"640\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>14 November 2025<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">Philippines-based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company Dornier Technology has secured FAA certification<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"> for heavy maintenance work on the Airbus A320 family aircraft, covering both A320neos and A320ceos<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">The certification brings a new milestone for the 17-year-old company, which currently holds certifications from regulators in\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"> the Philippines, Indonesia and South Korea.\u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"\/><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"\/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">\u201cThis allows us to bid for more<br \/>\nwork not just from the local carriers, but also in the Southeast Asian<br \/>\nregion in particular, because were close enough that it still makes<br \/>\nsense for them to bring over.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">Dornier\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Nick Gitsis said.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"\/><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">According to Gitsis, a<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">irframe maintenance makes up about 65% of the company\u2019s work, with line maintenance making up the remaining 35%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">Heavy maintenance checks are done at its main MRO facility at Clark airport in Pampanga while it also operates line maintenance capabilities at airports in Cebu, Davao and Manila.\u00a0<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\"\/><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans;\">Line maintenance refers to the routine maintenance tasks performed on aircraft between flights. It typically occurs at the line station, which is an operational location where aircraft arrive and depart.
