I’m delighted to share the video of yesterday’s launch of The Intercessor on Zoom. I was in conversation with Rabbi Diane Elliot, read several excerpts, and responded to questions and comments from those who attended. It was fun, especially if you like deep questions about real challenges as much as I do, and I was very happy that the book has gotten such a good early response.

If you stick around till the end of the video, you’ll hear me ask for help. In the nature of book publishing these days, the book is unlikely to get mainstream reviews. I’m sure that word-of-mouth will be the most effective way to grow awareness. Three things you can do would really help: Review the book on Amazon or on other book sites, ask your local bookstore to stock it, and use your own blog or social media to share it. Thanks for considering!

Here’s a discount code to buy The Intercessor at 20% off until November 30th.

I am also available to do a free Zoom with your book club, your community organization, your havurah, synagogue, church, or any other group you feel may be interested. Through stories narrated by their main characters, the novel focuses on some things badly needed at this time: on the challenges of building spiritual community, of holding to ethics when they are under attack, of finding love in a moment too filled with hate. While its setting is a Jewish community, many non-Jewish readers have said it speaks just as clearly to them. Please feel free to contact me to talk about it.
