When I began my journey with ELGi as a Senior Engineer in the Aftermarket division for the Southeast Asia region, success meant resolving technical issues quickly and delivering results. My focus was on execution—fix the problem, ensure customer satisfaction, and move on. But ELGi broadened that vision.

As I gained experience, I realized that my role wasn’t just about solving technical problems—it was about building sustainable systems. One of the more eye-opening moments was learning how strategic thinking could impact long-term relationships with customers and partners.

By working closely with my leadership team, we began focusing on relationship-building, driving transparency, and enabling enhanced collaboration with our dealer network. This shift helped me strengthen customer retention, open new markets, and enhance overall service delivery. I moved from simply executing to contributing meaningfully to our strategic direction.

Leadership, I discovered, isn’t about authority—it’s about empowering others. I had the opportunity to train and guide my team, streamline service call processes, and collaborate on handling technical challenges together. Watching my team grow in confidence and capability was one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.

These experiences taught me the value of collaboration and the strength that comes from trust and shared purpose.

Whether resolving service-related issues or coordinating complex logistics, every interaction reinforced one truth: customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do. Navigating differences and problem-solving under pressure has helped me become more composed, solutions-driven, and committed to teamwork.

Today, success looks different. It’s no longer just about achieving KPIs. It’s about creating value—for the customer, the team, and the organization. ELGi has given me a space to evolve from a technical expert to a strategic contributor and people-focused leader. More importantly, it has helped me align professional growth with purpose.

ELGi has not only shaped my career but also my outlook on life. It taught me that real growth happens when we embrace change, think long-term, and uplift those around us.
