Her pieces that she was selling at the show were immaculate and SO unique, so I can\u2019t imagine what her personal collection looks like. That\u2019s when I realized she\u2019d be perfect to feature here. Let\u2019s sit back and intently admire Andrea\u2019s collection and listen to her story:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019ve loved jewelry my entire life. My mom is passionate about Native American rights and sold jewelry by Native American makers when I was growing up. My dad collects gemstones. As long as I can remember, I have had a jewelry box and loved gemstones and jewelry.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54688800271_33ea392d55_b.jpg\" alt=\"@lapluscharmanteshop\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689013589_8c0b28156b_o.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"1100\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSome motifs I collect: Lover\u2019s Eyes. Hands. French baby brooches that were given to children to protect them from evil\u2026and also to fasten their bibs.<\/em><br \/><em>I look for fine details, materials, and craftsmanship most of all. Things that couldn\u2019t or wouldn\u2019t be produced now because they\u2019d be prohibitively expensive to make.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54688792251_d79fc0fe44_o.jpg\" alt=\"Lapluscharmanteshop\" width=\"900\" height=\"878\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689107095_0d076859da_b.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"683\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cJewelry is beautiful. It is meaningful. It is history you can hold in your hand and wear. My favorite place to treasure hunt is Paris! Astounding variety, knowledgeable dealers. Plus, in the rare event you don\u2019t find anything you like\u2026you\u2019re in Paris.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689013499_175fdc4448_o.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"1090\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689106910_89722f9180_b.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"1024\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAlmost all of the pieces in my collection have an interesting story behind them. Antique jewelry and the stories around it help me feel connected to previous generations in a way that other forms of art don\u2019t. That\u2019s why my tagline on IG is \u201cfinding new guardians for old treasures.\u201d\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689107060_fc876aa393_o.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"1000\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689107085_e2446f8d2a_o.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"1999\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cStorage is my b\u00eate noire. I have changed it up throughout the years and now keep most of my collection at the bank. I have a small amount of \u201cevery day\u201d jewelry in an elegant jewel box at home \u2014 an engagement present from some of my best girlfriends. Whenever I look at it, it reminds me of how much I love them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54689013494_7bf6eb607c_o.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54688767911_7aa14b54f2_b.jpg\" alt=\"@LaPlusCharmanteShop\" width=\"900\" height=\"684\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy most sentimental piece \u2013 an antique signet ring with a hand-carved hardstone intaglio that says \u201cForget Me Not\u201d in German script. The condition is perfect. And the ring itself is so unusual.<\/em><br \/><em>It appealed to me because I worked for a German company \u2013 Bertelsmann \u2013 at the beginning of my career. Whenever I wear it, I get major happy nostalgia for my 20s!<\/em><br \/><em>My every day wear: my wedding set. I never take it off. I even wore it surfing!
