Intentionally consuming ceremonial cacao<\/a> has been a powerful ally that\u2019s massively supported me on my journey in living more fully and from the heart \u2013 as an entrepreneur and a human<\/span>. It\u2019s what gave me the confidence to go nomadic<\/a><\/span>, buy a tiny cabin<\/a><\/span>, and launch a podcast<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A cacao ritual is a beautiful way to connect to the energy of Gaia and plant kingdom.<\/p>\n

    Ceremonial cacao recipe creation is a way to tap into your intuition.<\/em><\/h3>\n

    My cacao elixir recipe differs from day to day and is based on what my body is drawn to. Rose and cacao is a beautiful combination that has a very rounded, soft flavor and a heart-opening effect.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    This recipe is fantastic if you\u2019re on your path of cultivating more self-love through simple daily rituals, or if you want to share a mindful ritual with your partner. Cacao on its own is known as a powerful heart opener, and combining it with rose \u2013 which is said to bring love, healing and compassion \u2013 takes this effect to the next level.<\/p>\n

    Some ceremonial cacao blends come pre-mixed with spices.     Heart Opening Rose Ceremonial Cacao Recipe<\/h2>\n

    Makes 1 serving\u00a0<\/h4>\n

    Ingredients:\u00a0<\/h4>\n

    • 4 tablespoons of chopped ceremonial cacao (I love Cacao Laboratory Arriba Nacional 100% Cacao Paste<\/a><\/span>) or 10 cacao discs (I love Ora Cacao Tantric Rose Ceremonial Cacao Discs<\/span><\/a>).       • A splash of nut or seed milk of your choice<\/li>\n
      • 1-2 teaspoons coconut oil to make it extra creamy<\/li>\n
      • 1 teaspoon maca for energy and an earthy taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Directions:<\/h4>\n

        Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy. Start on low speed, slowly increasing to high while allowing the intention for your cacao ritual to crystalize, feeling gratitude for cacao medicine.<\/p>\n

        Want to make cacao without a blender? <\/strong><\/p>\n

        Combine all ingredients in a pot on low heat, and let the cacao melt while constantly stirring it (don\u2019t let it boil).<\/p>\n

        Pour the cacao in a cup that feels special. Optionally, add rose petals on top.<\/p>\n

        Holding it in front of your heart, I invite you to do a little gratitude and intention ritual (see below).<\/p>\n

        • I give thanks to the heart of the Water<\/li>\n
        • I give thanks to everyone who brought this cacao to me\/us\u00a0<\/li>\n
        • I give thanks to my own heart for showing up and being open to receiving the messages I\u2019m meant to receive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
