These updates rolled out gradually throughout the month, and are recapped in Google&#8217;s latest <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/gemini\/gemini-drop-november-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/gemini\/gemini-drop-november-2025\/\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\">Gemini Drop<\/a> for November. If you haven&#8217;t followed every singe announcement, this is a great way to figure out the new Gemini app you need to try.<\/p>\n<p>The big change is the addition of <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-gemini-3-available-now-everything-you-need-to-know\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-gemini-3-available-now-everything-you-need-to-know\">Gemini 3<\/a>, the company&#8217;s latest and greatest LLM. Google calls it the &#8220;most intelligent model&#8221; it has ever made, with deep understanding and stellar vibe coding abilities. The update first debuted on the Gemini web client, and now, it&#8217;s available in the Gemini app on iOS and Android.<\/p>\n<p>To use it, tap the current model listed at the bottom of the Gemini app home screen \u2014 usually <strong>2.5 Flash<\/strong> \u2014 to open the model selector. Then, tap <strong>Thinking<\/strong> to switch to the preview Gemini 3 Pro model, the first one to release as part of the next-generation Gemini 3 series. Free users get a few free generations before the model reverts back to Nano Banana, while Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers get higher rate limits.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<aside data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" class=\"hawk-root\"\/>\n<p id=\"2b7c47a6-45f6-4e2f-bcd2-9419df49b66e-1\">For videos, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-veo-steps-up-its-creativity-in-3-1-version-update-for-realism\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-veo-steps-up-its-creativity-in-3-1-version-update-for-realism\">Veo 3.1<\/a> is the default video-generation model, and it now supports <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-is-making-it-easier-for-gemini-app-users-to-generate-videos-from-photos\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/google-is-making-it-easier-for-gemini-app-users-to-generate-videos-from-photos\">the <strong>Ingredients to Video<\/strong> feature<\/a> first made available in Flow. It allows users to upload three images that will guide a video prompt, and it aims to shorten the length of prompts needed to generate a requested video. Between the addition of Nano Banana Pro and Veo 3.1 Ingredients to Video, it&#8217;s clear the new My Stuff section of the Gemini app is part of a content-generation push.<\/p>\n<p>For Google AI Ultra subscribers, the cornerstone feature added in November is the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/googles-gemini-agent-can-orchestrate-complex-tasks-on-your-behalf-in-the-gemini-app\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/ai\/googles-gemini-agent-can-orchestrate-complex-tasks-on-your-behalf-in-the-gemini-app\">Gemini Agent<\/a>. It can take actions on your behalf in the Google ecosystem and beyond, all while prioritizing user control. There&#8217;s plenty to look forward too, though.<\/p>\n<p>The company is currently safety testing Gemini 3 Deep Think, an even smarter AI model that will come to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the coming weeks. Google also confirmed that more Gemini 3 models will be released &#8220;soon&#8221; to join Gemini 3 Pro in preview. We&#8217;re likely to see a lightweight model, like Gemini 3 Flash or something similar, to replace or join Gemini 2.5 Flash for basic queries.<\/p>\n<p>Google could also expand limited features, like Gemini Agent, to more users in the future.
