Featuring over <strong>150 master weavers and top designers<\/strong> from across India, the exhibition brings together a remarkable selection of <strong>pure silk and cotton sarees, designer wear, ethnic apparel, handcrafted jewellery and exclusive festive collections<\/strong>. The diverse line-up includes renowned styles such as Banarasi, Kanchipuram, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Uppada, Ikkat, Tussar and contemporary fusion designs\u2014offering the perfect blend of tradition and elegance for the upcoming wedding season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking at the opening ceremony, <strong>Jayesh Kumar, <\/strong>of the<strong> Gramin Hastkala Vikas Samiti<\/strong> and organiser of the <strong>National Silk Expo<\/strong>, emphasised the social vision behind the initiative. \u201cThe expo is not just a platform for showcasing products; it is a movement to support and empower the weavers of India. Our main objective is to promote traditional artisans, provide them with a sustainable marketplace and ensure that their exquisite handloom creations reach customers directly,\u201d he said. Kumar added that the initiative has successfully created strong markets for weavers in cities where they otherwise lack commercial exposure. \u201cVisitors can be assured of <strong>authentic, pure silk and cotton products sourced straight from the artisans<\/strong>, without any middlemen,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the opening day, shoppers were seen exploring the wide range of festive and bridal collections, interacting with artisans and appreciating the craftsmanship behind each piece. The exhibition offers convenient shopping with <strong>UPI, debit and credit cards<\/strong> accepted at all stalls.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organisers encouraged Chandigarh residents to make the most of this exclusive opportunity to experience India\u2019s finest weaving traditions under one roof.
