Welcome to our IAAPA 2025 preview! In these annual posts before the event, we meticulously gather all of the information on the various manufacturers and their games that has been made available in advance \u2013 although do keep in mind, there is usually always an unexpected surprise somewhere.<\/p>\n
Just in case anyone is new here, IAAPA is a giant trade show held in the world capital of theme parks, Orlando, FL where the entire amusement industry (arcades, theme parks, and their adjacent supporting businesses) comes together to show off their latest and greatest product designs. Though the comparison gets less and less relevant each year, I always say the show is like the E3 of the amusement industry. It is typically held on the week before the US holiday of Thanksgiving, and gives us a look at the newest arcade games which will be hitting the scene either this Winter, or coming up in the next year.<\/p>\n
If you are heading out to the show, then hopefully this will help you figure out what to look for and where it should be. This map<\/a> attached to IAAPA\u2019s official website is a big help, and they also have an app which can assist in finding the spots you need to visit. I will be there each day of the show, where hopefully I\u2019ll manage to capture footage for everything we\u2019re going to discuss. For those who\u2019d rather ingest all of this preview in video form too, check out our livestreamed rundown now available on the AH YouTube channel.<\/a><\/p>\n Games in bold<\/strong> mark the first time that the product will have been seen at a US trade show.<\/p>\n For starters, we always give our advertisers a signal boost at the top, as a small way to thank them for helping keep this site up and running. We are also grateful that we have so many now \u2013 this year marks the most ever supporting us. We\u2019ll list them in order of how long they\u2019ve been supporting us:<\/p>\n Booths #515\/615\/815. Last year\u2019s IAAPA was a relatively quiet one for Raw Thrills, with no major new-new games \u2013 only the previously-unveiled Angry Birds Boom!<\/em>, two player Halo Fireteam Raven Assault Model<\/em>, NBA Superstars<\/em>, and Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR<\/em>\u2018s final chapters were new to that show. Since then however, they have launched Top Gun Maverick<\/em> and Wizard of Oz <\/em>and also announced Godzilla Kaiju Wars Deluxe<\/em> (which previously debuted at GTI 2025 in China), alongside their new Jackpot Racer<\/em> motorcycle videmption game that was seen on test some months back. Supporting those will again be returning games of theirs, including Angry Birds Boom!<\/em> and one or two other releases with new content updates.<\/p>\n Confirmed games:<\/p>\n #1045. TouchMagix is debuting three new games at the show: Boxed Up<\/em>, Pickleball Toss<\/em>, and Treasure Chest<\/em>. We actually saw the third of those last year at IAAPA, where it took a back seat to their focus on Minions: Bullseye Mania<\/em>, while Boxed Up<\/em> and Pickleball Toss<\/em> are new-new pieces. Given how popular pickleball has been out there, I\u2019m surprised that it\u2019s taken this long for anyone to make such a game, although perhaps that\u2019s due to the older audience who is into it.<\/p>\n Confirmed games:<\/p>\n #240. Wahlap have had a busy year, and that will show here with their lineup, which will include Storm Racer 2<\/em>, Phantom Vanguard<\/em>, and Monster Eye 3 Unite<\/em>, among their sports and redemption games and returning titles like Asphalt Moto Blitz DX<\/em>. Several of their games will as always also be available on the booths of other companies who represent them out West, most prominently LAI Games.<\/p>\n Confirmed games:<\/p>\n #3417 (in the Rides & Equipment area). The crown jewel of Alan-1\u2019s booth this year will be Liquid Death<\/em>, the new licensed and enhanced version of the Soda Slam!<\/em>, alongside their first crane machine, Butts On Things.<\/i> Their redemption shift will also be visible with a prize merchandizer called Cosmic Spin <\/em>and a Butts On Things variation, Booty Spin<\/em>. Note that Dr Pepper Soda Slam!<\/em> will be at the AVS Companies (#1918) booth, which will also have a 32\u2033 version of Butts On Things and several other non-Alan-1 pieces.<\/p>\n Confirmed games:<\/p>\n #840. As you may have noticed already, we have recently added Blue Motion Games to our roster of advertisers. They debuted at IAAPA 2024, and this year they are at the Player One Amusement Group booth (more on them below) with the 2-Player Desert Chase<\/em>, which we covered earlier in the year here.<\/a><\/p>\n Now let\u2019s take a look at the main bulk of companies who will be there. With as large as this show is, it feels like four days isn\u2019t enough, but I\u2019ll try and discipline myself to film until my camera can\u2019t take it anymore.<\/p>\n #1329. Ace have been growing in size and stature since they first showed up at IAAPA a few years ago; though they\u2019ve been keeping up the new game rate at a crazy pace recently, not all of their latest product will be there, with titles seen at the last GTI like Dino Attack<\/em><\/a> and Hover Rush<\/em><\/a> nowhere to be found. Still, they will have a number of games here, with their Wild Hunting<\/em> and All Star Golf<\/em> also confirmed to be carried by Amusement Source International and Coastal Amusements respectively (more on them soon).
