The announcement, made during NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang\u2019s European tour following London Tech Week and GTC Paris, marks a significant step in positioning Germany as a global leader in AI-driven industrial innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The AI factory, to be operated by Deutsche Telekom in Germany, will serve as a powerful hub for Europe\u2019s industrial ecosystem, accelerating advancements in manufacturing applications such as design, engineering, simulation, digital twins, and robotics. Equipped with 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, NVIDIA DGX B200 systems, RTX PRO Servers, and advanced networking and AI software, this infrastructure represents Germany\u2019s largest single AI deployment to date.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the era of AI, every manufacturer needs two factories: one for making things, and one for creating the intelligence that powers them,\u201d said Jensen Huang, NVIDIA\u2019s founder and CEO. \u201cBy building Europe\u2019s first industrial AI infrastructure, we\u2019re enabling the region\u2019s leading industrial companies to advance simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Timotheus H\u00f6ttges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom, emphasized the urgency of embracing AI to maintain Europe\u2019s competitive edge. \u201cEurope\u2019s technological future needs a sprint, not a stroll,\u201d H\u00f6ttges said. \u201cWe must seize the opportunities of artificial intelligence now, revolutionize our industry, and secure a leading position in the global technology competition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A key beneficiary of this initiative is NEURA Robotics, a German pioneer in physical AI and cognitive robotics. The company will leverage the AI cloud\u2019s computing resources to power its state-of-the-art training centers for cognitive robots. Through its Neuraverse platform\u2014a networked ecosystem where robots learn from one another\u2014NEURA Robotics aims to create an \u201capp store\u201d for robotic intelligence, enabling applications like welding and ironing to evolve continuously. \u201cPhysical AI is the electricity of the future\u2014it will power every machine on the planet,\u201d said David Reger, NEURA Robotics\u2019 founder and CEO.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aligns with Germany\u2019s strategic need to expand data center capacity, which, according to a Deloitte study, is projected to triple to 5 gigawatts over the next five years. The AI factory will provide cloud computing resources to a wide range of users, from Germany\u2019s Mittelstand (small- and medium-sized businesses) to academia, research institutions, and major enterprises. Users will have access to <a href=\"https:\/\/indiapressrelease.com\/tech-news\/100199\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NVIDIA\u2019s<\/a> CUDA-X libraries, RTX- and Omniverse-accelerated workloads, and software from industry leaders like Siemens, Ansys, Cadence, and Rescale.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership lays the groundwork for Germany\u2019s transition to AI gigafactories, a 100,000 GPU-powered initiative backed by the European Union and set to launch in 2027. The gigafactory program will provide enterprises, startups, researchers, and universities with state-of-the-art AI infrastructure through expanded high-performance computing centers. Approximately 900 Germany-based startups in NVIDIA\u2019s Inception program will be eligible to access these resources, alongside upskilling opportunities through NVIDIA\u2019s Deep Learning Institute.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/digpu.com\/technology-news\/nvidia-holoscan-for-media-redefining-live-broadcast-with-ai-powered-software-defined-solutions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NVIDIA<\/a>, Deutsche Telekom, and NEURA Robotics underscores Germany\u2019s commitment to leading the global AI race while maintaining sovereignty over its technological future.
