As we go through our daily lives it’s easy to lose sight of what’s happening outside of our own lives, we become so immersed in our struggles and quest to triumph over adversity that we often forget about the promises of God and the joy and peace that He offers us, especially during our challenges.

When we turn on the news, we are reminded of the horrifying changes in the world. Our options are to turn off the news and bury our heads in the sand (my personal preference – Yes, I know better,) or get consumed by all the negativity.

But a quick look at the New Testament reminds us that we need to pay attention to world events, and to what’s happening in Israel, the Land of Promise. Israel holds a special place in the heart of God as shown in biblical history and as the focus of the end times.

This is not an end-times review. It’s a reminder that as God’s children, we need to pray for Israel and support them, whether or not the rest of the world does. Israel is the Land of Promise, and it’s important to remember the people there, their stories of triumph over adversity, the strength through the war they are currently living through and the evidence and reminder of God’s unwavering love and faithfulness.

I’ve always wanted to go to Israel. But in light of current world events and the state of the world, for most of us, there is only one option. It’s a great option for anyone who has a heart for God’s people.

Come along as we journey through the Land of Promise and remember the complicated situation taking place there. The Israeli people are showing us resilience and faith which is a reminder that regardless of where we live and what we go through, we still have the love, mercy, and grace of our Heavenly Father who gives us the strength through adversity that we need regardless of our challenges.

Take a Journey Through the Land of Promise

Often referred to as the Land of Promise, Israel is a land where through the centuries, its people have exhibited stories of triumph over adversity and perseverance. Beginning from its rescue from Egyptian slavery in the days of Moses, to the establishment of a nation that struggled against the odds, Israel is a strong testament to the fulfillment of God’s promises through the faith and resilience of its people.

‭Genesis 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

As we go through the products in this quarter’s “Land of Promise” themed Artza Box, you’ll learn that through its creators, each product is a symbol of the spirit, faith, and creativity of a community of people who are united with a common goal to thrive against all odds and evils.

The artisans participating in this collection, as well as the members of the Artza family, have been serving actively in reserve duty and have risked their lives to support their families and their beloved country. They spend their off-duty hours creating these products. Artisans are very thankful for each subscription box purchased because it provides income for each small business, their families, employees, and the charities they support.

Handcrafted with Love: Embracing Strength Through Adversity

Since I’m a woman, the first product I gravitated to when I opened the box was the Cacao Bean and Hazelnut Crunch Chocolate, (obviously.) Designed by Yaara, who is a mother, nature lover, and chocolatier who creates her chocolates with ingredients sourced from local farmers and inspired by nature. This smooth, creamy chocolate offers a mild crunch that comes from the hazelnuts, Yum-O!

It’s wonderful to be able to add this Artza-exclusive tapestry to my home’s decor. It includes Scripture from Psalm 122:6, which says “‭Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you enjoy tranquility.” It’s a reminder to say a prayer for the Land of Promise each time we look at it.

The Jerusalem Game of Five Stones was created by Eran, whose father worked in a Jerusalem stone quarry. Eran crafts products from authentic Jerusalem stones, connecting each piece with the city’s past. In Jerusalem by law, every building has to be made with Jerusalem Stone.

Over the years, the city has been built with these same types of stones as in biblical times. Carved from this stone, this game, lets you play an ancient pastime that echoed through the same streets of Jerusalem thousands of years ago.
