Its large four-cylinder T-head engine and well-balanced chassis combine to make the low-slung Raceabout a competent roadgoing automobile that was also successful at the race track, winning five of the six races that Mercer entered in 1911. This 1913 Mercer Type 35-J is believed to be one of the most original examples in existence and was formerly owned by American Formula One World Champion Phil Hill. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-large\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>Driven To Win<\/em>, and this video, are sponsored by Zero Petroleum which is led by an experienced team of former F1 engineers on a mission to decarbonize motorsport and transportation.
