Measure 1 cup of water<\/strong> (for a 6-quart IP<\/a>) or 1 \u00bd cups of water (for an 8-quart IP<\/a>) into the Instant Pot.<\/p>\n Step 2. Place the trivet in the Instant Pot,<\/strong> and 1-2 pounds of frozen ground beef on top of the trivet<\/a>. Make sure you\u2019ve removed all packaging material from the ground beef!<\/p>\n Step 3. Cook on HIGH pressure for 20 minutes<\/strong> for 1 pound or 23 minutes for 2 pounds.
