The brewery\u2019s new taproom in downtown Seattle opens on Friday, June 13th <\/h2>\n

In a city were things usually take much longer to materialize that anyone hopes or expects, this plan came together in a flash. In April we shared the news<\/a> that Reuben\u2019s Brews<\/a> was opening a new taproom near the corner of 1st Avenue and Seneca Street in downtown Seattle. The company just announced that it is now ready to welcome the public to the Reuben\u2019s Downtown Taproom. Friday\u2019s grand opening kicks off a weekend-long, all-ages celebration that includes the launch of a seltzer cocktail program, a glassware giveaway, limited edition merch, and the release of Downtown Debut IPA, which was brewed to commemorate the occasion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new location is close to the newly revitalized waterfront, just a block down the street from the Seattle Art Museum, and a quick jaunt away from Pike Place Market. It\u2019s within easy walking distance of the stadium district, which makes it a great pre-functioning location and a perfect starting point for a march to the match on Sounders game days.<\/p>\n

The Reuben\u2019s Downtown Taproom will offer 28 taps of beer, cider, seltzer, and non-alcoholic offerings as well as a menu of beer-friendly American pub fare. The food menu features new stuff, like grilled fish tacos, crispy Brussels sprouts in a sweet chili lime glaze, and funnel straws with a Robust Porter chocolate sauce. Also, familiar favorites like the Emerald City Hot Chicken sandwich, and a vegan Reuben sandwich on marbled rye.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Featuring floor to ceiling windows, 220 seats indoors and out, flat screen TVs for Mariners, Seahawks, and Sounders games, a wide variety of canned beer-to-go, and a semi-private room that can be reserved for groups, Reuben\u2019s Brews describes its the new taproom as a relaxing gathering space for any occasion. The centerpiece is a large, playful mural depicting the brewing process along with scenes from different parts of the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n
