Mariner Finance employee Sean Ryan was working as a Branch Manager in Parma, Ohio, when he got the call. Sean was being promoted to AVP for another District. This new job meant a move to a new location.<\/p>\n

Sean says, \u201cI was so focused in the past three years. I did everything I could to pay off my student loan debt. I lived with my parents to save as much as possible, so when the time came, I was ready.\u201d Sean was offered the job on a Wednesday and accepted the next day.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, Sean and his girlfriend, Mandy, had been saving money and were ready to move and become homeowners. He knew that he wanted the next home he lived in to be one he owned. However, to accomplish that goal, he needed a pre-approval for a mortgage loan. Sean says he thought back to what many of his colleagues told him. \u201cSo many people I worked with raved about the [Mariner] mortgage team. all used them and said it was a great experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

A week later, Sean and Mandy looked at houses and arranged to see thirteen houses in one day. The 13th<\/sup> house they saw was the lucky one! Sean knew the moment he had to have it, \u201cI stood on the back deck and looked out. I thought there should be a golf course somewhere around here. And I looked to my right, and I saw a 100-yard marker. That\u2019s what sold it for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
