He eventually signed to\u00a0Death Row Records\u00a0& became an original in-house producer under the guidance of it\u2019s co-founder\u00a0Dr. Dre<\/a>, forming\u00a0Tha Dogg Pound<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Kurupt<\/a>\u00a0not too long afterwards. Daz finally made his solo debut on \u201898 by putting out\u00a0Retaliation, Revenge & Get Back<\/em>\u00a0on Death Row until departing rather quickly to put out 19 more LPs of his own with almost 3 decades of experience in the game. We just had the Dogg Pound Gangstaz make a return to form with\u00a0W.A.W.G. (We All We Got)<\/a><\/em>\u00a0under Tha Row last spring & his 21st album looks to take it back to the essence of his own debut.<\/p>\n After the \u201cLevel 4 Yard Bizniz\u201d intro, the first song \u201cDeath Row N\u2019Matez\u201d by Tha Dogg Pound featuring\u00a0RBX<\/a>\u00a0&\u00a0Soopafly\u00a0was a funky west coast hardcore hip hop intro with all 4 of them justifiably showing off their status as O.G.s of The Untouchable west coast label whereas the soulful \u201cCalculate the Time\u201d talks about the chosen few who\u2019re simply too cold. \u201cWest Coast is the Best Coast\u201d boastfully represents the sunshine state to the fullest since hip hop\u2019s a habit to him & after the \u201cGet Down You Clown\u201d interlude, \u201cSet Trippin\u2019\u201d advises that those who ain\u2019t from the same block as him to watch their step.<\/p>\n \n
