In 2007, I made the decision to start my own business. And goodness knows I made a lot of mistakes along the way. Many times, I\u2019ve wondered if I had what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Perhaps you can relate.<\/p>\n

Well, if you want to know how to make it as an entrepreneur in 2025, buckle up. I\u2019ve done my homework, and now I\u2019m spilling all the knowledge I gathered for you to determine if it\u2019s right for you.<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurship is the process of starting and running your own business. But let\u2019s be real \u2013 it\u2019s so much more than that.<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurship is having the guts to take your wild ideas and turn them into something real.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s looking at a problem and thinking, \u201cYou know what? I can fix that.\u201d And then actually doing something about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And the best part about starting your path of entrepreneurship in 2025? There are more ways than ever to make money<\/a>. Whether you\u2019re dreaming of opening a brick-and-mortar shop, launching an ecommerce empire from your living room – though I admit ecommerce can take time to make strong profits<\/a>! – or turning your side hustle into your main gig, there\u2019s a path for you.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the thing \u2013 entrepreneurship isn\u2019t just about making money (though that\u2019s definitely a nice perk!). It\u2019s about creating something meaningful, solving problems, and maybe even changing a little corner of the world. And sometimes, it\u2019s about failing spectacularly, picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and trying again.<\/p>\n

Trust me, I\u2019ve been there. I remember when I first started in 2007. There were moments when I seriously questioned my life choices, and thought about going back to a 9 to 5 job. But you know what? Those moments taught me more than any business class ever could.<\/p>\n

What it\u2019s like to be an entrepreneur<\/h2>\n

Want to know what being an entrepreneur is really like? Imagine riding a roller coaster\u2026 blindfolded\u2026 while trying to do your taxes and take care of accounts payable and receivable all at the same time. Yeah, it\u2019s kind of like that.<\/p>\n

Some days, you\u2019re on top of the world \u2013 you just landed a huge client, your social media post went viral, or maybe you finally figured out how to make your accounting software behave.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But other days? Well, let\u2019s just say there are moments when a regular 9-to-5 starts looking pretty good.<\/p>\n
