This district deserves an experienced representative who listens, leads, and delivers results,\u201d Crow said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A long-time businessman and former Tuscaloosa City Board of Education member, Crow says he brings a strong record of public service and private sector experience to the race. He is seeking to fill the seat that will be decided in a special election, with the date to be set by the Governor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI know what it takes to run a business \u2014 to meet a payroll, create jobs, and grow opportunity,\u201d Crow said. \u201cI\u2019ve seen firsthand how strong businesses strengthen families and communities. Those same principles \u2014 accountability, service, and results \u2014 have guided my work on the City Council and will shape how I represent the people of District 63 in Montgomery.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A native of Tuscaloosa, Crow graduated from the University of Alabama in 1990 with an accounting degree. He began his career in the energy sector, holding leadership roles with Southern Natural Gas, Tenneco Energy, Duke Energy, Reliant Energy and Innovative Energy Services. He later owned and operated DT Freight, a local transportation business, and now serves as a licensed real estate agent with Hamner Real Estate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Crow shared his deep ties to the Tuscaloosa community and long record of civic leadership. He has served as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Chairman of the Board, Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Board Chairman, United Way of West Alabama<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Chairman, West Alabama Chamber of Commerce (2015)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Board Member, Business Council of Alabama<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Chairman, Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Board Member, Alabama Commission on Higher Education<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Member, Alabama Workforce Council<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">Member, Tuscaloosa City Schools Board (2013\u20132017)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Leadership Alabama graduate (Class XXXIII)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Crow and his wife, Keeshan, have three children: Norman, Madeleine and Meredith.
