Arkeste offers a relaxing and refined dining experience. The setting, in a heritage building surrounded by nature, makes for a peaceful atmosphere. Chef Richard Carstens has a knack for combining his signature classics with new dishes that make the most of local, seasonal ingredients. The wine list is well-chosen, with great options from Chamonix and other selections from across the Cape region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 features up and coming chefs who are training to eventually move on to La Colombe, so it\u2019s a great way to experience their talent early. The evening includes a multi-course meal with wine pairings, and each dish is presented by the chef who created it which is a personal touch that really adds to the experience. Every course is unique, and the food overall is excellent.<\/span><\/p>\n
