In peak times, these do get busy, so arriving early is best.<\/p>\n<p>To begin your Tall Trees Walk, the nearest car park is located at Blackwater car park, S042 7QB.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" src=\"https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tall-trees-trail-arch.jpg\" alt=\"tall trees trail carved arch\" class=\"wp-image-25794\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tall-trees-trail-arch.jpg 600w, https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tall-trees-trail-arch-267x400.jpg 267w, https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tall-trees-trail-arch-419x628.jpg 419w, https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tall-trees-trail-arch-150x225.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>At this car park, you will find facilities including toilets and a picnic area. If Blackwater car park is full, there is alternative car parking at Brock Hill car park, which is also located along the Tall Trees walk.<\/p>\n<p>The Tall Trees walk is a 1.5 mile <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thelifeofspicers.com\/circular-walks-in-the-new-forest\/\">circular walk in the New Forest<\/a><\/strong>. It\u2019s important to know that this walk takes you along a path that is close to the road where cars travel.<\/p>\n<p>The route is signposted to your right where you begin your walk. Named the Tall Trees walk due to the amount of firs and redwood trees that were planted way back in the 1850\u2019s. Don\u2019t forget to look up!<\/p>\n<p>Approximately half way around the walk, you will reach Brock Hill car park. On a sunny day with the sun streaming through the canopy of trees, it\u2019s a very pleasurable walk.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that along this trail, you can also spot the biggest trees in the New Forest. The giant sequoia tree is the largest on earth. You may even spot a roe deer.
