Did you know you can control capacity, easily adjust ticket quantities and time intervals, and monitor who’s in attendance with individual time slots? Some events have a set start and end time; attendees arrive when the doors open, and they exit once the performance or programming is complete. Other events or attractions are more “continuous,” regularly welcoming attendees at various points throughout the day. If this sounds like your offering, you’ll want an event technology solution that can help you efficiently welcome attendees and control how many are in your event at any given time. With our timed entry feature, you’ll keep the lines moving and easily set how many attendees can purchase tickets for each time slot. Plus, by managing entrance times to your event, you can stagger admissions to optimize ticket sales (by capping out more in-demand times, therefore encouraging more off-peak arrivals), and sell more tickets overall!

When creating an event series in the ShowClix Admin, you’ll be presented with an additional step to build out a schedule for hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly recurring events. Simply choose the date and time range at which your event occurs, and the system will automatically create a calendar widget that appears directly on your event page, so your ticket buyers can easily choose their preferred time slot. You can further customize this calendar by listing the number of tickets remaining for each time slot, setting a series threshold, and hiding sold out events.

For more information on how to set up timed entry for your events, check out our help guide!
