The United States State Department has claimed that the empire will apply \u201cmaximum pressure\u201d on Russia if peace talks with Ukraine fail. The ruling class added that the U.S. president has already warned Russia\u2019s ruler, Vladimir Putin, against \u201cplaying with fire,\u201d Tammy Bruce, the State Department spokesperson, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US president\u2019s patience has \u201cworn thin.\u201d So much so that he has expressed his frustration in his recent posts on Truth Social,\u00a0Bruce told\u00a0Fox News<\/em>\u00a0in a clip posted by\u00a0Fox and Friends<\/em>\u00a0on Monday.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this week, Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin had gone \u201ccrazy\u201d following a series of retaliatory strikes carried out by Moscow in Ukraine, adding that the Russian president is \u201cplaying with fire.\u201d Moscow, in turn, suggested that Trump might not be well-informed about mass Ukrainian attacks against Russian civilians. He added that \u201creally bad things\u201d would have already happened to Russia if it weren\u2019t for the U.S. ruler.<\/p>

The tweet was responded to by Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia and former Russian president, in another social media post on Tuesday. \u201cRegarding Trump\u2019s words about Putin \u2018playing with fire\u2019 and \u2018really bad things\u2019 happening to Russia. I only know of one REALLY BAD thing \u2014 WWIII. I hope Trump understands this!\u201d Medvedev wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, according to the media\u2019s own reporting on the increasing tensions surrounding this war, Russia appears to be the side most ready to come to talks. Without much to offer, and facing down the barrel of losing this war, Ukraine continues to attack the much militarily mightier nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported intercepting more than 2,300 Ukrainian drones targeting Russian cities, including several hundred that were headed towards the Russian capital,\u00a0RT<\/em>\u00a0reported.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia Says Ukraine Has \u201cOne Last Chance\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dAmerica is ready to do a maximum pressure framework on Russia,\u201d Bruce said, warning that Moscow will\u00a0\u201csoon understand\u201d Trump\u2019s commitment to achieving a settlement of the Ukraine conflict. Following Trump\u2019s outburst on social media, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggested that Western media outlets were pressuring the US president and were\u00a0\u201ceffectively engaged in a campaign aimed at derailing the peace process and provoking the United States into imposing new sanctions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine and Russia are both currently vying for the U.S. to approve of their side of the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Putin aide Yury Ushakov has suggested that Trump is\u00a0\u201cnot sufficiently informed\u201d\u00a0about ongoing Ukrainian attacks on Russian cities.\u00a0\u201cTrump knows only about the retaliatory measures we are taking,\u201d\u00a0he said, adding that Russia strikes only target military infrastructure or defense industry facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia\u2019s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has similarly noted that Trump is only getting\u00a0\u201cfiltered\u201d information on the conflict, which is\u00a0\u201cprepared by those who want to draw America into more aggressive action against Russia, in support of the Kiev regime.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the U.S. can remain more neutral and continue to force Ukraine to come to the table by condemning attacks on Russia, this war could be over soon. On the other hand, it seems like the West wants it to continue, and it recently decided long-range missiles can be used to attack Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
