The Royal College of Art opens its graduate showcase across London, presenting work that explores memory, identity, and material innovation.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n

From 19 June to 23 July<\/strong>, the Royal College of Art<\/a><\/strong> will open its campuses<\/strong> to the public for RCA2025<\/a><\/strong>, a summer programme of graduate exhibitions and events showcasing work across art, design, architecture, and communication. Taking place at the RCA\u2019s sites in Battersea, Kensington, and White City<\/strong>, the event offers a window into the practices of emerging creatives from around the world.<\/p>\n

The School of Arts & Humanities<\/strong> begins the season with its postgraduate show, running 19\u201322 June<\/strong> at Battersea<\/strong>. Among the exhibitors is Damien Cifelli<\/a><\/strong>, an MA Painting<\/a><\/strong> graduate whose paintings explore Tarogramma<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u2014a fictional land shaped by imagined traditions and quiet surrealism.<\/p>\n

Xavier Leopold<\/a><\/strong>, a multidisciplinary artist completing an MA in Sculpture<\/strong> and the current Sir Frank Bowling Scholar<\/a><\/strong>, will present new sculptural work. Meanwhile, Lala Drona<\/a><\/strong> contributes paintings that consider bodily presence and absence through the visual language of gesture and movement in transitional space.<\/p>\n

Nearby, Yuzhou Zhu<\/strong>, graduating from the MA Print<\/strong> programme, uses fragile materials such as dust and hair to create intaglio etchings. These works examine memory and time through a subdued, tactile lens.<\/p>\n

The School of Architecture<\/strong> will present its graduate exhibition from 4 to 6 July<\/strong> at the Kensington<\/strong> campus. Urara Hatano<\/strong>, an MA Interior Design<\/strong> graduate, proposes Sonic Urban Landscape<\/em>\u2014a repurposing of a disused office building as a space for sound-based artistic collaboration.<\/p>\n

Love is not rich<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

The School of Design EXPO<\/strong>, split across two instalments\u20143\u20135 July<\/strong> and 17\u201319 July<\/strong> at Battersea<\/strong>\u2014features projects responding to ecological and social questions. Zhong-Wei Lin<\/strong> (MA Design Products<\/strong>) introduces Reefine<\/em>, a modular artificial reef designed to support marine biodiversity in Taiwanese waters. The project has received international recognition and will appear in exhibitions across Europe.<\/p>\n

Also exhibiting is U Gajadeera<\/strong> (MA Fashion<\/strong>), whose collection S.O.S. (Save Our Seas)<\/em> transforms waste material into garments that reflect the emotional and environmental consequences of ocean pollution. Her work has been featured in Vogue<\/em>, The Sunday Times<\/em>, and other publications.<\/p>\n

In White City<\/strong>, the School of Communication<\/strong> will hold its Festival of Communication<\/strong> from 4 to 23 July<\/strong>, with events and installations extending into the surrounding neighbourhood. Yeonmi Kim<\/strong> (MA Visual Communication<\/strong>), who works under the name mustard<\/em>, presents Love Is Not Rich<\/em>, a research-based project exploring the language and impact of romance scams. Her work uses clothing to record and reinterpret the emotional residue of online deception.<\/p>\n

A full schedule of events and exhibitions can be found on the RCA website. Selected works will also be available for purchase via RCA Sales<\/strong>, the college\u2019s official sales platform, open from 5pm BST on 18 June to 10am BST on 21 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
