And as rents continue to rise and evictions continue in California post pandemic, we check in on Antioch, the city just moved forward with a just cause for eviction ordinance\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On tonight\u2019s show, we speak with a representative of a coalition of organizations including CAIR, AROC, Central Coast Anti War Coalition, The UC Students Association, Teach Palestine, the Filipino American Educators Association of CA, The Dolores. Huerta Foundation and Jewish Voice for Peace. is designed to provide comprehensive broadcast, technical, and administrative skills training in radio. First Voice also aims to build and strengthen community and empower our participants to find their voice and tell their stories.<\/p>\n<p>The First Voice program is based on community building, a collaborative work environment and passing on our skills and stories. Everyone is required to spend one business day each week working at KPFA, as well as two class nights.  The dayshift is a three hour shift and apprentices do administrative and production tasks.
