Traveling in the Indian summer isn\u2019t easy, especially when you\u2019re stuck wearing clothes that don\u2019t breathe. I remember wishing, for the hundredth time, that my pants had pockets\u2014or that I had found a pair of comfortable cotton trousers that weren\u2019t plain or boring. Polyester was out of the question. But the options available in stores were so limited.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You know that helpless feeling at airport security?<\/b> When you’re juggling your phone, passport, boarding pass\u2014and you realize your pants have no pockets or your pants aren’t even that comfortable. That was me. More than once.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As I got older in my 40s, I also noticed how my body changed. A little weight up or down, and suddenly my trousers wouldn\u2019t fit right. I didn\u2019t like the idea of replacing clothes so often. Over the last five years, I\u2019ve shifted to a more sustainable lifestyle. It started during COVID, when I became more mindful of what I was buying. When I traveled to the US, I was surprised to see how expensive \u201cMade in India\u201d clothing was there\u2014while back home, many of us couldn\u2019t even find those same clothes at fair prices. We often chase global brands, forgetting the beauty of what\u2019s made right here.\u00a0<\/p>\n
