Here\u2019s the latest news:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chef BJ Lieberman&#8217;s newest restaurant, a wood-fired Italian spot called Metsi\u2019s, officially opens today &#8211; Friday, June 6. The two-level eatery takes the place of his shuttered restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/breakfastwithnick.com\/2023\/09\/13\/hiraeth-short-north-columbus-ohio\/\">Hiraeth<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/breakfastwithnick.com\/2025\/06\/03\/chef-bj-lieberman-opens-metsis-italian-in-the-short-north\/\">Get a full look at Metsi&#8217;s here!<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodfellaspizzeria.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Goodfellas Pizzeria<\/a> opens its first Columbus location today, June 6. The pizzeria and bourbon bar is located at 608 N. High St. in the Short North, taking over a long-empty space at the southern edge of the district.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tulipcafecatering.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tulip Caf\u00e9<\/a> celebrates the grand opening of its newly expanded space this Sunday, June 8 from 1-6 p.m. They\u2019ll have a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. and will be offering free samples, including free baklava.<\/li>\n<li>Lots of openings this weekend! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61572986206668\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Light Meeting House<\/a> coffee bar and cafe opens on Saturday, June 7 in the old Addella\u2019s on Oak space at 1485 Oak St.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/breakfastwithnick.com\/2025\/02\/03\/ravellos-coffee-pops-up-at-the-daily-bar\/\">Ravello\u2019s Coffee<\/a> soft opens it new coffee shop inside The Daily Bar starting next Monday, June 10, with a grand opening on June 17.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieatalchemy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alchemy Cafe<\/a> has been tapped to open a third location, this one inside The Well, Hilliard&#8217;s community center.<\/li>\n<li>The owner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/myoldworldbakery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My Old World Bakery<\/a> has shared that she&#8217;s sold the bakery to new owners.<\/li>\n<li>Last weekend the <a href=\"https:\/\/thescatterjoyproject.com\/\">Scatter Joy Project<\/a> opened its new community space at 986 N.
