{"id":275505,"date":"2025-06-05T18:51:24","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T18:51:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/uncategorized\/suzuki-cements-its-commitment-with-new-head-office-distribution-centre\/"},"modified":"2025-06-05T18:51:24","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T18:51:24","slug":"suzuki-cements-its-commitment-with-new-head-office-distribution-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=275505","title":{"rendered":"Suzuki cements its commitment with new head office &#038; distribution centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"hs_cos_wrapper_post_body\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><em>Suzuki Auto South Africa has broken ground on a new, custom-built head office and distribution centre in Gauteng, reinforcing its local commitment and supporting continued growth.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investment aligns with brand\u2019s increasing market share and presence<\/li>\n<li>Cutting-edge facility reinforces commitment to local market<\/li>\n<li>19,100m\u00b2 warehouse will support efficient logistics operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suzuki Auto South Africa, in partnership with real estate group Fortress, has officially broken ground on its new head office and distribution centre at Longlake Logistics Park in Gauteng.<\/p>\n<p>The sod-turning ceremony, held on 21 May, marks a major milestone for the Japanese carmaker, celebrating 17 consecutive years of sales growth and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the South African market.<\/p>\n<p>The company will relocate from its current headquarters at Linbro Business Park to a custom-designed 24,507m\u00b2 facility that will accommodate its expanding operations and workforce. Construction is scheduled for completion by mid-2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe set out to deliver more than just warehouse space for Suzuki,\u201d says Marguerite Oosthuizen, Leasing Consultant at Fortress. \u201cIt was about creating a tailored, future-focused facility that embodies the brand, supports its people, and enables bold, sustainable growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new facility will include 2,900m\u00b2 of modern office space and 19,100m\u00b2 of warehousing, along with advanced amenities such as training facilities, boardrooms, a workshop and a 100-seater canteen. The warehouse will feature a clear height of 15m for optimal vertical storage, as well as large yards and easy vehicle access to support efficient logistics operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis move marks a significant chapter in our journey,\u201d says Berto van der Lith, Vice President and CFO of Suzuki Auto South Africa. \u201cOur new headquarters will allow for further improvements in our current operations and support the growth we foresee in the coming years. Suzuki is proud to partner with Fortress, whose team has demonstrated deep insight and commitment to our needs.
