Are you planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park and searching for glamping near the park?\u00a0 When I set out to plan our Yellowstone- Grand Teton vacation last year, I wanted to have at least one night of glamping.\u00a0 If you\u2019re going to experience glamping for the first time, I can think of no better place.<\/p>\n

When researching lodging in West Yellowstone, Montana, no options caught my eye. That is until I stumbled upon Under Canvas West Yellowstone- a luxury glamping resort on the outskirts of town and just six miles from the Yellowstone National Park entrance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

I was sold. Reservation set.<\/p>\n

What is glamping?<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re unfamiliar with glamping and are curious about what to expect, my best explanation is this:\u00a0 boujee camping.<\/p>\n

I love the outdoors, and on vacations, we travel to places where we can spend lots of time outside and do adventurous things.\u00a0 But when the sun starts to set, I don\u2019t want to camp and sleep on the ground.\u00a0 It\u2019s just not my thing. I\u2019d much prefer a glass of wine, a hot shower, a real bathroom, and a cozy bed.<\/p>\n

Glamping varies from place to place but typically involves an oversized tent that is essentially as big as a hotel room, with a real floor, and if you\u2019re lucky, you might even get your own in-suite bathroom. While it depends on the company, glamping facilities often include charging packs for phones, lanterns, and, if you\u2019re lucky like we were, a stove to keep you warm at night. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Our West Yellowstone Glamping Experience<\/h2>\n

Our one-night stay at Under Canvas West Yellowstone was wonderful.\u00a0 Wild West Adventure meets Luxury Outdoors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was a family trip, so we had four in our party and chose a deluxe suite tent with kids tepee to give ourselves a bit more room. Our glamping tent had a private bathroom and one of the coziest beds I\u2019ve ever slept in. The kid\u2019s tepee wasn\u2019t quite as luxurious, but they enjoyed having more space and their own beds.<\/p>\n

Our glamping site was nestled near the river on the outskirts of the property. It provided just the amount of privacy and adventure we were seeking.\u00a0 Around 3 am, we woke to the sound of coyotes yipping nearby.\u00a0 It was a real experience!<\/p>\n
